Photogrammetry

In Photogrammetry, images are taken of an area by using a plane or a drone. Photos may be appropriate for longitudinal and transverse faces to allow elevation to be extracted from photos. These images are converted into maps after various stages of calculations and processing. Mapping is done using special software to convert a photo to a map.

This is useful for:

  • Preparing large urban maps

  • ORTHO Photo

  • Providing extensive and inaccessible land maps

  • Preparation of DEM digital elevation models

  • Preparation of vegetation plans

  • Aerial triangulation
